Self-pay pricing

Clear, up-front pricing for patients without insurance. No trip fee, ever. This page lists our most common services and is not a complete fee schedule. Call 864-365-6405 if you have questions about a specific service before you schedule.

Important pricing information

1. This is not a Good Faith Estimate. The prices on this page are general self-pay reference pricing, not a Good Faith Estimate under the federal No Surprises Act. If you are uninsured or plan to pay for your visit yourself, you have the right to request a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for the specific services you request before your visit is scheduled. Ask our patient care team when you call to book.
2. Final charges are based on the care actually provided. The amount you owe is determined by the services, lesions, and complexity your provider actually addresses at your visit, which may be more or less than what was discussed when scheduling. You will be informed before any service outside your original request is performed.
3. This is not a comprehensive fee schedule. If other services or procedures are medically necessary, our billing department will work with you and provide the cost before the procedure is performed.
4. Pathology is billed separately by an independent, outside laboratory. Dermatology House Calls does not perform its own pathology testing. If a biopsy or excised tissue is sent for analysis, the outside laboratory bills you directly for that testing, separate from and in addition to our fees listed above. We do not set, control, or receive that fee, and it may vary by specimen and by lab.
5. A pre-payment ($180 for new patients, $135 for follow-up visits) secures self-pay appointments. This pre-payment is applied toward your total balance for the visit. If your final charges differ from the pre-payment amount, our billing team will contact you regarding any balance due or refund.
6. Prices are subject to change without notice. The fee schedule above reflects our current self-pay rates. Call 864-365-6405 to confirm current pricing before scheduling.
7. Self-pay pricing applies only to patients without insurance coverage for the visit. Patients with active insurance are billed according to the terms of their plan, not the rates shown here.
8. You may request an itemized statement. After your visit, you are entitled to request a fully itemized bill describing each service, procedure, and fee charged.
